So exciting I FINALLY did it and took a painting class I have thought of for years. My soul was guiding me toward more creativity but I was dragging my feet. Playing with color was so fun. Yea for me!

so does! it would have been perfect expect for a circumstance at the studio. I am looking forward to playing more. I forgot this is your passion and gift.
I really love your paintings Savannah. Espesially the one in the midle. I see a fairytale castle in the background and a road leading there. How cool. Is it oil on canvas?
Oh, now i see it too. It is this loose acrylic paint. I began literally throwing the paint on wet canvas then added thicker paint, used a knife for a lot of it. So fun to just play. Today I bought about 10 canvases and some paint. Matt actually told me it was important for me to be more creative. I tried lots of things but nothing could hold my attention until this. My friend offered to show them in her restaurant how fun it that! Funny you like the middle one, my daughter hates that one. Lucky I am not sensative anymore about things like that, she did not like any of them and I could laugh! The bottom one is long, on unstreched, untreated canvas, what you see is only a segment, I adore how it turned out. I never could do abstract before as I would over think it. Here I was only interested in what looked and felt good to me. First time since my teens I have painted a picture. So glad I was able to get out of performance mode.

What fun! I’ve got all kinds of paint etc. which I haven’t used in a long time…..May be time to get them out and at least see if they’re still usable.
Cheers for creativity! All kinds.
Do it and if you like, let us see what you come up with.
