I am profoundly grateful to the judge the presided over the jury selection that I participated in for the last two days. I experienced her as profoundly, compassionate, kind, aware, present, diplomatic, considerate. The experience was less than easy for me on so many levels, but I found her leadership deeply nourishing and supportive. I feel very grateful to know that she is in that position here in our county. I’ve called to see if I can send her a letter of gratitude.
And to my friend, who is also a judge. Knowing that you’re a judge in another country, I feel profound gratitude to know that someone who is so compassionate, aware, and I consider wise to be in such a position. For me, it brings a sense of faith and hope.
