control virus and mighty companions

On trance states, control and mighty companions:

Last night I was swept away in a control virus before I knew what hit me. For about 20 minutes I was completely convinced that the person involved needed to do what I had requested and honored an agreement even though extraordinary circumstances had intervened. I threw in a sweet mix of victim, added a few cup fulls of fear and stirred the brew. At least I had the sense to question my choice yet honestly I was buying the toxic mix fully.
Yet when I snapped out of it with the help of stepping outside into the relatively balmy night with the sounds of a seasonal creek flowing and the scent of an exquisite blossom wafting, I finally truly saw how I had set the events in motion with my desire to control outcomes. The big question is how to break the trance state of fear which hijacks our five senses. Hopefully we catch ourselves in the act. If not, we are well served to have mighty companions to pants the ego. Recently my miracle buddy had to endure my snarling and vicious self (with a small s) defense to give the ego the old heave ho. Her devotion to my true Self had her proceed where angels fear to tread. I bow with gratitude that she was willing to not buy the ego’s ploy of pulling the victim card. When I was in a complete state of ego Id the other day, I had the great intuition to send out an S.O.S. on FB, asking to send in the clowns. This is my new ego buster phrase because it makes me smile every time I think it.
Darlings the voice of fear seems to get increasingly loud. My Tai Chi teacher mentioned it in class, saying the wait time at our local emergency room was eight hours! This is no time to soft petal ego. We must gather our inner resources and stand firm. Our minds are either our allies or a slave master. We must use all tools in our disposal to choose again, choose Love. Everytime I post more radical Truths, I lose “followers.” I always have to laugh. Last week 2000 looked at my Rising as Love page, this week 400. Many will choose a relatively palatable path that allows us to make peace with the ego, uneasy bedfellows. Wherever you are, whatever path you choose, claim your innocence. One of the trickiest ego plays is to convince us we are sinning when we can’t find our way out. For those with the courage and tenacity, absolute freedom beckons. All will finally take the victory lap. The only question is one of the appearance of time.
