Who are you?

For me the critical point in getting free, in living in joy and harmony involves a few key points. First of course is self love. Why do we love ourselves? Because we must remember Who we are to move beyond suffering. To see ourselves as inadequate, as less then, as limited is such a betrayal to our True Nature that it causes us endless suffering. To be free, we must remember that our real nature is Divine, is Infinity, is majestic and limitless. It is the forgetting that cause this pain. I had done Cellular Memory Release for a few years and was primarily focuses on the pain body release aspect without grasping the importance of knowing Who we are. What it finally dawned on me I was shocked I had not seen it sooner, especially as I was helping my mentor Luis Diaz edit his book “Memory in the Cells” which focuses directly on this point. I think it was reading that Truth repeatedly that finally woke me up. So here is a big heads up kids, to get free you must Remember, not find, not seek, not chase your tail, REMEMBER Who you are. You are a Miracle, can you taste that? I woke up planning to write about this and then read Matt Kahn’s post for today from TrueDivine Nature, basically saying the same thing. Here it is:
In my journey, awakening has been a natural uninterrupted flow of grace that has permeated each breath and encounter for the past ten years. There was a point where thoughts and feelings dissolved back into their natural state of emptiness, and from that point forward, I inhabited this body and moved throughout the world as a void of nothing that is void of nothing.
Yet, this didn’t occur by wanting it, wishing for my experiences to change, or even attempting to be any particular way whenever a thought or feeling appeared. I simply knew, in the core of my being, each thought or feeling were like children, only making noise or taking form, as a request for love that only I, the witness of reality could provide.
If you believe thoughts or feelings are in the way of your spiritual evolution, you tend to go to war with yourself. As if something that arises so naturally indicates an enemy to destroy or a barrier to overcome. It often stems from a belief in “when” and “then”. It could be: “When I stop thinking or feel different in my body, then awakening will dawn.” Maybe it’s: “When my circumstances change, then I’ll be fulfilled.” It could even be: “When I figure out the lesson in this, then it will go away.”
What if your true happiness, infinite abundance, existential breakthroughs, miraculous joy, and unwavering peace were always meant to be revealed at a particular stage of your journey? What if you are here, having the chance to experience exactly how you acquired all that is meant to be given and resolved, in whatever way you choose to watch the movie each breath plays out?
Awakening is not necessarily about escaping thoughts or transcending feelings in any way. If anything disappears, it is the tendency to make any thought or feeling evidence of how evolved or far behind you believe yourself to be. While there may be a period of time where thoughts and feelings seem to vanish, all that goes is sure to come again. When and if it does, it doesn’t have to act as proof of how unconscious you are or how much more work needs to be done. Instead, the experience of having no thoughts or feelings can remain as equally open, relaxed, and peaceful as moments where thoughts and feelings emerge.
As you awaken, moments of silence are no different than the activity of thoughts or feelings. This is because an awakened being sees thoughts as formations of eternal silence and feelings as eruptions of space. It has nothing to do with who is or isn’t experiencing it, since both of those questions equally validate a reference point of identity. In awakening, identity is no longer a point of fixation, a dilemma to resolve, the source of any burden, or even a question to answer.
Once the question of identity no longer exists on the table of consideration, no particular experience acts as evidence toward any conclusion, idea, or belief. It is more so the case that an awakened being welcomes the fullness of experience, as a gift to receive, while naturally rooted as the eternal radiance of all. Openly inviting whatever arises, no matter the fate it may bring, as each breath inspires the next moment of endless resurrection.
If you find yourself bothered by experiences, unable to get past the circumstances and outcomes you continue to label, blame, and judge, simply change the meaning of your experience. The easiest way to change the meaning of your experience is to allow it to be only what it is. Perhaps a thought is only proof of a thought. Maybe a feeling proves nothing other than the existence of a feeling, with nothing more to interpret beyond such a recurring visceral experience.
What if your ability to like or dislike experiences is exactly how the moment was designed, as a cosmic set-up to reveal greater gifts and clarity in future chapters of your journey? What if you are already guaranteed to come out on the other side of experiences, more expanded, evolved, and empowered than ever before, no matter how your growing pains are experienced?
What if thoughts, feelings, circumstances, or outcomes offered no evidence of unconsciousness? If nothing suggested a state of unconsciousness, you’d have an easier time realizing the consciousness that is always here – in whatever form you seem to appear.
When nothing acts as proof of anything, other than divinity in form, you have outwitted the dream of judgment. From this space, you reunite with your true nature, as the eternal one I AM, free to act out and enjoy the infinite potential of that which knows no other. From this space, loving what arises becomes an authentic way of embracing the intimacy of life, where every moment is savored as a gift, instead of viewed as a problem to resolve. This is the heart of true liberation.
p.s. once we get that down, we must move beyond viewing ourselves as a particular form, as person or self but we will leave that for another day as I have not yet gotten there myself so cannot yet support others in realizing that last level of Truth.
“Why are you so unhappy, why are you so unhappy? Because 99.99% of everything you say, and everything you do is about yourself, and there isn’t one.
