endless self improvement game

I woke up this morning with a story about what was wrong with me. I could feel myself go into fix-it mode despite my commitment to the paradoxical theory of change created by Fritz Perls which says the best path to wholeness is the total acceptance of the now with no desire to fix or change. It took maybe 20 to 30 minutes of deep breathing and concentration to move out of that “something wrong with me” energy. Then when later a situation arose I was incredibly gratified to notice no guilt came up despite the appearance of conflict. What a ride.!
May be an image of text that says '@PeacefulMindPeacefulLife Sometimes I wake up & have to remind myself: "There is nothing wrong with me. I have patterns to unlearn, new behaviors to embody & wounds to heal. But there is nothing wrong with the core of me & who I am. I am unlearning generations of harm and remembering love. It takes time." @YOLOAKILI'
