On joy and willingness:
Who believes it is possible to live in ever greater joy in these chaotic times? I have the privilege of witnessing how many are reacting or responding to all the deep triggers in our personal and global world. There is one thing I see consistently. It is those who are willing to dive into the murky waters of unconsciousness, penetrate the fortress of ego “protection,” face and feel the wounds of erroneous past conditioning, explore the deep self hatred we carry, that are making the break to joy. My mentor said only about 5% of those who ask for her help actually are willing and ready to receive it. I feel blessed that the number of clients in my practice that are truly willing has jumped tremendously but I am still a bit mystified that someone close to me is not choosing to dive in to get free of suffering. I can feel myself try to take false responsibility or even get frustrated that not all choose to take the necessary steps. I know that it is primal fear that motivates those choices. I pray to stay out of the split mind of ego that tells me only some will get free. I return my heart to true vision, being willing to see each of us always in all ways as already free.
