THE SWEET NECTAR OF LOVE

There is nothing more delicious then love. Love is what makes us willing to move through the challenges of life, what makes our hearts’ sing. Feeling the separation from love is what fuels our growth, our return to our true nature.

This love may be for a child, a pet, a partner, a relative, a cause yet ultimately for ourselves, for our recognition of our own Divinity. Only a nectar so sweet would entice us on this seemingly perilous journey.

In my case it is my love for my child that has been the final angel wing to bring me back Home to Myself. When she was an infant, being in the field of her unconditional loving released me from the feeling of separation that had plagued me all my life. Ah dear friends, it woke me back up to the nectar of life. The certainty of my mother’s love was my first precious gift. I then knew love with several special men but always one of us loved more deeply then the other with resulting conflict and suffering. After the initial honeymoon weeks, months or even years, the feeling of separation would return.

For years when my daughter was young I felt an almost constant unity. Then when that began to dissolve, I had to continue to find my way back to my own love. Now to have discovered that inner love AND to have resolved the conflicts with my daughter and be restored to that harmony, intimacy, affection and cherishing, so sweet. I am bathing in that honey in this moment.

I do not yet know the same golden glow with my own self love yet I know I am unfolding ever more deeply into that remembrance. In this moment I want to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to that memory awakening and to celebrate this gift of life. May all beings return to this absolute awareness of our own magnificence.
