Let’s explore what actually happened last night. A large group of Americans who have felt abandoned by their government had no other way to say “screw you” to years of empty political promises and endless layers of corruption voted for a character who represented an “anti-political” regime. This choice was mostly made in attempt to unravel what many dislike about politics, instead of voting for the ideals that deep down we all support.
At the core of our being, no one consciously supports verbally or physically assaulting women, name calling, or racism. And yet, a candidate who embodies these characteristics and who has treated women, ethnic groups, veterans, and those with special needs with utter disrespect and atrocious behavior was elected by a group of people, who would rather “buck the system” than cast a vote that matches their highest moral code or ideals. This may not be where your consciousness resides, but it is where the collective remains at the moment. This is where we truly see how far a candidate goes before the world stands up and speaks up for what they wish to support.
Let’s look at the energetic pattern at play: People voted for Trump because they oppose the track record of Hillary. People voted for Hillary because they were against the ideologies and behavior of Trump. People voted for Trump because they oppose political puppets who promise big while under delivering in action. People voted for either Hillary or Trump based on whether the things either one opposed (economy, ISIS, immigration, Obamacare, etc…) matched the very things that they are personally against. In the aftermath of this surreal election, many will watch Trump closely making sure he doesn’t attempt anything we would oppose.
Can you see how these candidates came into consideration due to long-standing patterns of making choices based on what we are against, instead of what we stand for? If we made choices truly from a space of what we stand for, we wouldn’t stand for an election offering no-win situations on either side. Can this moment become an opportunity where you help shift the collective consciousness by focusing on what you are for, instead of what you’re against? Or are you so stunned by the candidate that you are against that you forget to cast votes for the things you support in every choice? However you feel, you always deserve more love, not less.
Each choice in life is a trip to a voting booth. How you respond to others and the circumstances you are in casts votes on a daily basis for the type of world you wish to live in. Will you sit back in apathy and allow an external reality to strip you of your power, or will you reclaim your power, right here, right now, and acknowledge how the field of your reality is open and ready to accept the value of your next inspired vote?
There are plenty of people in this world who are unable to choose without opposing something along the way. Those are the ones who will watch the Trump administration closely and revolt if he attempts to do anything undesirable. The moment he employs a radical immigration policy or attempts to deport people of this country, there are many who will stand up and say enough is enough. If that is your role to play, I applaud your clarity, but for the majority of energetically-sensitive souls, we are here anchoring a consciousness that manifestations such as Trump are merely inspiring out of the collective. We are the ones who act as open windows to invite the light of Divinity to enter this world for the well-being of all depending on the votes we cast through the choices we make.
While most people need to get angry in order to be inspired, we can assist in the expansion of conscious by acting out our highest inspirations without the motivation of anger. If you support organic farming, each trip to the grocery store is an opportunity to cast your vote. If you wish to support the environment, each opportunity to compost and recycle is a chance to cast your vote. Anything you wish to support can be highlighted through the voting of your choices. This energetically helps others around you to make more conscious decisions to tip the collective into a more heart-centered reality.
What choice are you truly unable to make at this very moment, now that Trump is gpoing to become president? Is he actually in the way of anything you wish to choose? Perhaps the only barrier to your most inspired life of positive choices and responses are ideas of what might happen or what could be? When you are distracted by what might happen or what could be, you live in a world where you become victimized by the unconscious decisions of other people’s choices. And yet, in this very moment, the field of reality is wide open, ripe, and fertile for those who are ready to begin the real voting by choosing what they stand for in response to however life seems to be.
This is the love revolution. It is not a revolution against anything, but a revolutionary way to vote for the heart-centered consciousness that you are here to stand for. May you vote for love by consoling each fearful heart, and easing the anger that no longer is required to inspire your most conscious choices. It is time for love to lead the way, instead of hiding behind the most fearful possibilities that cannot be found in this moment, if we stop and look around with open eyes.
In this moment, all that exists are the possibilities of your choices. What vote are you ready to cast – right here, right now? We are in this together and it is a storyline where the grace of love always has the final word.
Many blessings to all,
Matt Kahn
