I love how Matt made the point today that we will shift our eating habits out of pleasure! I noticed about three years ago that it was super clear to me my attachment to sugar was a way of assuring instant pleasure. I also have been noticing that my awareness is increasing of not feeling so good after eating sugar and feeling terrible if I eat a lot of sugar. The more I adore myself, the more I value feeling good in this body. I know I will stop when the pleasure of feeling good in this body outweighs the momentary pleasure of a sugar rush.
