Today, seems like a good day to celebrate holy relationships. In a holy relationship, we’re not looking to the other to fill some hole in us, some emptiness. Rather we come from fullness and join together to create something magical and beautiful.
I am delighted to witness so many nourishing, supportive relationships. When I first started working as an intern in psychology, they seem to be quite rare 30 years ago. Now I know a number of amazing relationships, both friendships and intimate relationships. What a testament to these times, and so much gratitude to the holy relationships in my own life. Are they fully formed? No but they’re experiencing amazing growth spurts.
