This is a fascinating time to be alive. We are being taken through more twist and turns then a ride at Disneyland. The energy can shift so abruptly and leave us wondering if we have lost our marbles. Questioning one’s own sanity seems to de rigueur. Diving deeply into trust when our situations are inexplicable is paramount.
One moment sleep may be a forgotten concept, the next crawling out of bed is an Olympic sport. One moment creativity flows like Niagara Falls, the next tying our shoes seems way too complicated. One moment love may blanket us in a soft cocoon and the next rage spews from us. All the new normal.
The current energies may have us feeling flatlined, indifferent, uninspired, paralyzed or frozen as much surfaces for deep cleaning out of our psyches. Can we allow the energies to flow through our bodies unobstructed?
Do not expect a certain date to rescue you. The solstice, super-moon, equinox or a new year will not magically lift any of us to nirvana. We must each dedicate ourselves to the Remembrance. Climb on, once the train has left the station the end is certain.
This is the time for mastery. It is time to recognize we are not the victims of our thoughts or our body reactions. By learning a mindfulness practice, we begin to witness that it is our thoughts the trigger body reactions and that by taking dominion of our consciousness, we begin to shape shift our physical response and outer reality. Once we catch on to the game, it becomes a delight to choose again and watch inner freedom blossom. Use the last days of 2016 to clear out what no longer serves, be it possessions, relationships, beliefs, thoughts, habits. We are so worth the effort. To change ones’ mind is actually quite simple yet definitely not easy.
