Tonight in the early morning, 2:44 Pacific Standard time, the Solstice will occur. In the northern hemisphere it is the shortest day of the year. It is a time when the veils are thin and magic is afoot. Take time today to focus on gratitude. What are the gifts in your life? If this is a time of major transformation you may have to dig deep under the suffering to find it. The sun on your skin, a warm breeze, a loving touch or hug, a bird’s song sung just for you. Look closely, the wonder may be hidden under eons of forgetting.
I love ritual this time of year. I will be guiding my students to write down all that is time to integrate, transforming limitation and throwing old identities into the fire of transmutation. Then we will write down a more accurate and up to date vision of ourselves living out our passion and purpose, aligned in loving support with ourselves. We will active and Remember this part of ourselves that is ready to come alive, perhaps after millennium of being lost in the forgetting. This is the time fairy tales were written about, when heroes slayed the inner monsters and dragons of self doubt, low self worth and reclaimed their Divine inheritance of unlimited blessings. Take time loves to release the forgetting and reclaim our true identities as magnificent mystery.
