Remembering

I witness how the parts of ourselves that are afraid and feel unworthy or incapable of resolving our challenges are merely reflecting beliefs in limitation based on our current perception of ourselves. One cannot create abundance out of fear of lack and we are smart enough to grok that. One cannot release anxiety and depression while feeling so unsafe in one’s own skin. Our fear comes from the realization on a deep level that we are not currently remembering our own divine nature. We tend to hate and despise the parts of ourselves that are the red flags pointing to our own forgetting. We desire cutting them away, discarding them, trampling them so that we can feel better about ourselves. Yet we have it ass backwards. We do not transform fear with rejection, only with love and attention. It is so counter intuitive to love the aspect of ourselves that is most problematic, to ask that lost part what it needs, ask how we can assure it we care deeply and will not abandon it, be truly willing to not damn that part of ourselves to inner hell. Yet this is the medicine our hearts need. Day by day, one inner cuddle and I love you at a time, we return to the ground of our own being, rooted in love. ?
